MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling is an aesthetic medical procedure that involves repeatedly puncturing the skin with tiny needles. It creates a controlled injury just beneath the skin's surface, thereby inducing the body to respond by producing more collagen in the treated area.
The skin plumps and thickens in response to the stimulis, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, scars and stretch marks, minimises the appearance of pores and improves the overall texture of the skin.

Using a dermapen device, we are able to adjust the depth so the treatment isn't too deep in sensitive areas and in each treatment we use surgical grade disposable needles for safety.
You may experience minor discomfort during the skin needling treatment but a numbing cream is applied beforehand to reduce this.
Depending on the aggressiveness of treatment, you may experience pinpoint bleeding during the treatment but not ongoing. A temporary red appearance, like sunburn or swelling, is normal following the procedure and it normally lasts for 1 or 2 days, depending on each individual. It's very important to follow post-procedure care advise.
Every person is different and the number of treatments needed varies depending on the condition being treated, but usually we recommend 3-6 treatments, 4 to 6 weeks apart.
